How much room do you have in your website? How long will your readers have to wait for the files to be downloaded? You decide if you have to use GIFs or JPEGs in order to make your graphics look good. If you plan to copy gradients or halftones, then use JPEG.
Gif Animation 20K
More resolution you put in your copy the bigger will be the file. You can apply either one of these systems to your illustrations or photos. Gif is ideal for flat colors and animations for it does not take much space.
